man these guys have to be stopped. they are doing more than denial of service attacks, i just logged on and they have created a long list of servers named with random numbers now. before, they were creating servers with stupid names you couldn't take them
seriously.

it isn't a question of if but when they get caught, they are going to be in a whole lot of trouble. i can't see how this is helping anyone. if they get jail sentences i hope they are lenient twenty years for doing something like this is stupid.

Lizard Squad is a service, really. If they are at it again it's likely because someone paid them to do it. that's about all the ethics in their process, which makes them different than say Anonymous. Due to the design of web servers and the interent,
DDOS attacks are almost unstoppable. if enough motivated people want your server offline, they will bring it offline.

 

....boy, I remember the conversation shortly after PSN went down for a month and I asked an XBL moderator if XBL could ever be vulnerable to a similar attack and the XBL moderator proudly boasted to me that "nobody can hack or interfere with XBL servers,
they've got military grade encryption" ....and I remember thinking "wow, talk about the kiss of death" ..... Lizard Squad are punks, any kid can easily learn to engage in DDOS attacks pretty easily so it's not really hacking, it's more like a group of punks
collectively having a baby-fit by being a buzzkill

 

Either Microsoft better strengthen their security or Anonymous will step in...
