    I have a Cablevision box for cable, the Xbox One works, I can change the channels but I can't figure out how to recieve video on it. I try using an HDMI cable but I can't find the place to plug it in.

    support.xbox.com/.../connect-console-to-home-theater. Look at the first picture, that should give you the idea. There are 2 HDMI ports 1 In 1 Out.
    Use an HDMI cable from the cable box to the HDMI in port on the back of the Xbox One (It actually says HDMI In). Good luck! -Cheers
