Live TV problems since the Nov. update

Since the November update I have been experiencing live TV issues. The picture will work for a few seconds then freeze, then go to black and the "lost connection" graphic appears. I am using a Comcast issued Cisco RNG150N HD cable box with a Phillips TV.
Any known issues or trouble shooting steps to go through?

October update

The October preview group is still getting new updates in the preview program. The latest one was last night. This will probably be the last update since it seems their are no known bugs in it. So probably by next week the Oct update will go live for normal users and us preview guys will get the Nov update towards Oct 20th or something.

This is just how the updates have been working lately.

The problem is the November update. My DirecTV box now says lost signal. I called Microsoft and trouble shooter everything. Still does not work like it did before the update. Hopefully a patch for the update comes out soon.

 

I am having the exact same issue with Time Warner Cable using their Samsung cable box. I tried trouble shooting with Microsoft Support, but their answer was just to wait to see if it fixes itself...ridiculous.

 

Just figured out how to fix this. Plug you Xbox one into an HDMI that is not ARC audio return channel. Mine us a Vizio so I used hdmi2. Some tv's might have a setting in the menu to turn off ARC. Mine does not so I cannot use hdmi 1. The problem is ARC lets
your Tv send a signal to the Xbox one that disrupts the HDMI handshake at startup.

 

DesertFox1971 is correct (thank you). I had to turn ARC off on my TV AND on my A/V receiver. Now that ARC is off it is working perfectly. I'm glad I don't need ARC, but this is certainly something Microsoft needs to address and send a patch to their
last update.
