    Live TV Not Taking Up Full Screen


    Sometimes when I watch live tv, it doesn't maintain the widescreen format. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to be full screen and it just looks horrible on my tv. Also, when I use my DirecTV to watch recorded programs, I can't see when
    I fast forward or rewind so it's making it difficult and frustrating to skip through commercials and the like. Anyone else have these problems? What can I do to fix them?

    TV picture size

    The Live TV picture is not taking up the full screen when in full screen mode. It only takes up the center of the screen and cannot be full sized. It has nothing to do with snap.

    TV and OneGuide settings

    I've had the same issue. Trying to set up Live TV. Previously had it hooked up to a 55" TV with no issues. Now trying to hook it up to a home theater system. When I click on TV setup and Oneguide in the TV setup screen comes up with the spinning circle
    and does not go further than this screen. I have tried everything, rebooting, taking out cables for 5 minutes, tried an offline diagnostic reboot and still can't get past the load screen of the tv setup settings. Any ideas?

    Bump - if using Snap on live TV, is there a way to mute the snap (live tv) and retain the game (full screen) sound?

    A follow up - as mentioned, the screen greys out a bit after a few minutes. Any input "wakes" it back up, but I just noticed that the graphic put on screen by the system if always fully bright, even if it takes a little bit for the TV display to brighten
    up again (i.e. Kinect misunderstood a command for "sign out" - it put the full profile picture with options up on the screen, which looked normal, but the underlying TV display was still medium grey)

    LG 3D Smart tvs are great.

    Full screen multiplayer (via glasses) on 1 tv. NO more split screen.
