Live TV not locking onto HDMI input signal properly

    http://1drv.ms/1xY1bzW

I am experiencing a lot of problems when switching from a 720P to 1080i signal. The video above explains perfectly. It's an absolute mess of different error messages, white snow, and frankly takes way too long. This is significantly worse behavior than
the previous release, I am running latest July software.

Please don't tell me to force the output of my receiver to 720P. I run my equipment at native resolution and have my superior TV perform the scaling for optimal PQ. This is a common use case for any AV buff.

    My equipment:

    Direct TV HR20 Receiver

    Panasonic VT60 Plasma

    Monoprice HDMI 1.4 cables

    :)

    TV playback colour

So if you unplug the HDMI input from the back of your XBox One and plug it into your TV it looks fine and then when you go through the Xbox it changes the look of the picture. Everything I have read said there is no processing done to the TV signal. Does the signal when you are playing a game look green as well or is it just the TV signal? Have you tried hooking up a Bluray player with HDMI to the TV input on the Xbox to see if that looks green as well? That could at least eliminate your cable box as the issue.

    HDMI handshake problem

On my TV it has to have a cable connected in order to cycle thru to that particular input whether digital or analog. Its not like the old TVs where u could just cycle thru every input when you hit the Source or TV/Video button. One thing i noticed on my
TV that was diffrent when the xbox hdmi port was working properly was when my xbox was shut off but still hooked up i could switch to the HDMI input on my TV that it was connected to. Now the xbox has to be turned on in order for my TV to recognize that a
cable is hooked up to that input and let me switch to it. Almost like there is no standby signal coming out of the xbox while its powered off anymore. Could anyone else with a TV that only cycles particular inputs that have a cable connected confirm whether
they still have a Standby signal when the xbox is off. I am curious to hear from someone with a console with a working HDMI port and someone with a non working HDMI port. My PS3 hooked up with that same cable to the same port lets me switch to the right HDMI
input while turned off so im pretty sure its not the cable or TV causing the issue.
