Live tv is hear for preview program!

the live tv and one guide are working in the uk if your in the preview!

go to settings live tv and enter your post code

then pick your tv provider

then just follow the on screen prompts

Your can also download the smartglass beta app over at the preview forum

It has a built in tv remote and you can see your tv listing and program info for all your channles and shows.

Preview Member but no Notification Sent

Sorry to hear about any confusion that this may have caused. Just to clarify, the Preview Program is at near capacity and the Preview Team is slowing down the number of folks who are accepted. If you are invited to the Preview Program, it does not guarantee
that you will be accepted. In the meantime, all that you can do is wait to see if you receive an Xbox Live message regarding the Preview Program. Thank you for understanding!

Sorry to hear it guys. Prestidigitator, if you have not received a Live message with instructions to download the app then perhaps you have not been added to the program yet.

Phone support is not able to tell who is in the preview program and who is not.

Please remember that an invitation to the preview program does not necessarily guarantee access to the program. All invitation are currently being processed in waves so please be patient and keep an eye on your Live messages for further information as that
is the only place you will receive messages regarding the preview program.

 

I found it MUCH easier to download the beta app from the play store app on my phone. Just search for it. Its there.

 

Oh ok i just clicked the link on the forum post.

I was reading on my phone so took me strait there but any info is helpful.

Really pleased this has finally arrived, I'm using it with BT Youview and the Oneguide etc.. works great! Also the Smartglass is brilliant!

Once the change the channels names it will be better as it's not great saying "Xbox watch Comedy Central HDTV United Kingdom"

Yeah after you put in your post code you get a list of tv providers

Bskyb

Bskybhd

Bt

Virgin

Freeview

Then you just pic the one you have im using the bskybHD and its spot on

A few tweeks needed like radio channles mixed with tv channles but it is still in preview so no big deal

 

You all do realise this should be discussed in the private forums only, you are bound by T & C's to keep silent in public forums while testing is done, just putting this out there, food for thought.

Yes but it annoys those not in the preview that have always used their Xbox for TV and now cant.
