Live TV Freezes every 3-20 seconds, NOTHING WORKS.

Hello. I am BEYOND frustrated, as I have tried several things, and this is my SECOND issue I've had with Live TV.

No matter what channel I watch, what settings I have it on, my Live TV will not work. It continues to freeze every 3-20 seconds, there is NO audio at all, and I have tried every solution I can think of.

- my cable box works when it's in the TV on its own

- I have tried optimizing all settings

- I have done a system factory reset

- I have done at least 20 or 30 hard resets for both my cable box and Xbox

- I have switched HDMI cables multiple times

- I have cleared my xbox and my cable box's caches

please tell me I'm not alone here. I really love this system but I cannot stand having issues like this, especially when the system has become a staple to my room.

Uverse box "fried"

Same thing is happening to me as of yesterday (night when I discovered it). I have Dishnetwork and it works fine when connected directly to my TV, but if I connect it through the XBox One Live/Recorded TV freezes every 10-20 seconds for 20-60 seconds (or
thereabouts).

 

Xbox One TV glitching

Every ten seconds it started freezing for ten seconds and then work and then freeze, etc. I unplugged the pass through and hooked the dvr straight to my tv and it worked fine. Pretty pissed, wtf. I use Verizon FiOS BTW.

 

I'd like to add that my cable box is a Pace RNG110, my cable provider is Armstrong cable, and my tv is an LG 42LN5300.

 

bumping for recognition. I don't want this issue to go unsolved.

 

UPDATE: I tried an alternate source instead of cable. I put my PS3 in the passthrough on the One and it did the same thing. No sound with freezes every 3-20 seconds.

I spoke to support over the phone and was told it was my cable box and that I need to contact my cable provider. Which I'll do, I guess. but that doesn't change the fact that a PS3 did the EXACT same thing. I'm assuming I have a console with a bad passthrough.

 

Just called my cable company (Armstrong). I was told that their cable boxes are meant to hook up directly to the TV and not through a passthrough (I had to explain what a passthrough was.)

I'm lost. I'm just going to return the One, I think. I can't handle something not working.
