Live Status Indicator in the Xbox UI

You are spot on here Brad! The Xbox UI should have a Live status indicator, next to the controller battery level indicator would be great. I also think they need to place a marker on the hard drive after one buys and downloads game so that you can play offline
when Live is down. We bought it, we own it. Outages happen, but you should still be able to play what you own.

FWIW, I have been an avid Xbox gamer since 2001, and a MS user since the late 80's. I am also an Xbox Insider. I have rarely seen a case where MS was proactive with their users or even listened to their feedback. (

Outages haven't happened to much in my 10 year memory. Seems like it has gotten worse of late. Since I own 95% of my stuff digitally the outage kinda sucked for me. Sitting there talking to my buddy as he is playing and I was unable to. The thing that
sucked the most was the one game i had disc was rocksmith. It worked but none of the DLC worked and that's all I really play.

this would be useful as most people forget that you can check the Live status in the Network settings, although it doesn't give specific details.

I think with in future, the MS go Fix that insues and then we can play. I Belive with the MS it's work hard to make the best platafor for everyone go have fun, and some mecanism to we can play when the insues come probly is the preocupation from MS too
