Live sign in issue

Discus and support Live sign in issue in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My friend has xbox gold and he has a one. But when he comes over to play on my 360, he can't play online.     My friend has xbox gold and he has a one. But when he comes over to play on my 360, he can't play online. Why is this and what can we do to fix this? Again he has gold and play destiny on X1. So why can't he play online on the 360?

    I had to try to sign in 5 times before it actually let me, lol.

    I just re-read your question... Out of curiosity he's not trying to play Destiny on the 360 when he has it on the One is he?
