    To be honest, I'd ignore the "known issues" list....they just add things to it they have no intention of fixing. Wouldn't surprise me if they considered this current issue to be a "by design bug"

    The latest update from 2 days ago is there are multiple teams investigating the problem:

    Whether there will be a fix to it (if the rumour of an FH5 release in September is to be believed, then I doubt they would bother fixing it) or how long it will take (my personal opinion is it will be a few months judging by previous history) is anybody's guess

    Currently there are some issues with Forza Horizon 4 servers, their team is already working on solving it.

    Forza Horizon 4 "Profile cannot be verified with the server at the moment"

    So I talked with the support of xbox and they told me easily that for Forza Horizon 4 the Xbox Live is mandatory for playing online. Bought it, activated it and I could immediately join the online session.

    Hello! I have the exact same issue, I can't connect to a live session in Forza Horizon 4. I have a VPN installed because of WFH, and I suspect that's why I can't connect for some reason. I use FortiCLient VPN 6.2.6.0951
