    If you have your profile for your child set to play online with friends only, how can his friends find him or how does he find his friends to be able to play online together? If I allow his profile to be seen by everyone, how can know who you are friending?

    same question... the settings don't seem to allow for my children to play with their friends, even those that we know and have 'accepted.' When they try to play it says you have to change the settings - no online games allowed. But there don't appear to
    be settings that would allow for it.

    So have added child one to my family membership on xbox one, and child 2 now has a free one month trial for xbox 360.

    Unfortunately Xbox live discontinued their family membership to pursue game pass, however I do recommend that you have the 2 adult accounts with the Xbox live membership and share with the child accounts via home share feature on consoles
