Live is down

    Hello Troll - are you still having this issue as of right now? If so, please visit our Start Here sticky (forums.xbox.com/.../155724.aspx) and try
    those steps. If it does not help, please create a new thread detailing your issue as clearly as possible, and let us know the information requested by the bold section in that sticky - that will really help us help you. Thanks! Live is down :)

    Hi there! Live is down :)

    At the moment, there doesn't seem to be any reported issues. Please see the Xbox Live Service Status page for more details and updates: https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-live-status

    In regards to troubleshooting, try a power cycle. That means to unplug both your Xbox and router from the power outlet for a few minutes, and to try what you were attempting again, after re-connecting. Maybe a fresh connection will
    get you back up and running.

    This may indicate that the Xbox Live service is down. You might also see this error after you change your gamertag, which may mean your gamertag change did not apply correctly to your account.

    Solution 1: Check for Xbox Live service alerts Check for service alerts on the
    Xbox Live Status page. If there are any service alerts, wait a while and then try again.

    Solution 2: Sign out and restart your console Sign out of the profile that’s associated with your gamertag. Restart the console, and then try to sign in to your profile again.

    If neither solution resolves the issue, contact
    Xbox Support    .

    This is freakin ridiculous. Something happened on their end the other day as well. what ever it is needs to be fixed.
