    Sorry to hear about the issue. To clarify, there is not a specific promotion team that uses these forums (we just happen to help out with promotion issues among other Xbox related issues). To clarify, Gears of War 2 and Dark Souls are not available
    digitally in Japan, which is why you're running into those errors. Could you private message me your Fallout 3 code that's giving you that error so we can take a look?

    Lastly, if you are physically located in Japan and your account is already set to Japan, we recommend keeping that set up the way it is so we can guarantee the best Xbox Live experience. Switching to another region that you're not physically located in after
    the 90-day wait may cause similar or different issues down the road.

    Sincere apologies for the frustration caused so far, please be sure to private message me the Fallout 3 code so we can take a look into that.

    I've replied with the results, Mister Beep. Long story short, I changed some info to reflect my region in Japan but the code still refuses to work.

    Hello again Mister Beep,

    I'd like to ask how things are coming along. Since it has been nearly a week I thought I would ask, in addition to posing a question.

    If Gears of War 2 isn't available digitally in Japan, why am I able to purchase it? Other titles that are not available in Japan do not allow me to go to the purchase screen and simply tells me I can't purchase it because of the region, yet for this game
    it is apparently allowed. It tells me how much yen it costs and allows me to go all the way to the purchase screen. Of course I am not going to purchase it as I have a free game code foe the game, so why is this possible in spite of your comment that the game
    isn't available for digital download in Japan? I am genuinely confused.

    I also would like to know what is happening with the Fallout 3 key as well. I did not expect when I bought it nearly three weeks ago that I still would not be able to play it.

    The proper teams have reached out to you via email (your MSA email that is attached to your Xbox Live account) to assist further in this scenario. Have you received that email? If so be sure to reply to that to get the Fallout 3 issue sorted.

    In regards to Gears of War 2, I did originally overlook a couple details and you have my sincere apologies for that, however the result may be the same. Looking at our

    Gears of War 2 Marketplace page for Japan
    , the title is not currently available in Japan. However, we do have

    a separate version
    (with a different product number in the URL). In order to redeem Gears of War 2 in Japan, the code you purchased must have reflected that product ID. The error you're receiving indicates that your code is not the appropriate product for
    your region.

    Hope that helps clear up the issue! Let us know if you have received a email contact through your Xbox Live accounts' MSA!

    an alternative email address via private message, should the primary address again fail. Please try to make sure they can get a hold of me as I have not yet seen anything from them.

    Codes not Working. Entire XBOX 360 Gears of War Collection included for purchashing Gears of War 4.

    gears 1 and 3 are region locked and if you live in Japan you can't redeem any of the codes as they are different from American marketplace

    Do you receive the same error message for each code? What error messages/codes do you receive when you try redeeming them? Are they for 360 or One games?

    Depending on the games, it could be a region issue.
