Live Guest account not working

Why am i gold playing online with BO2 but cant play with a guest account... Help

Setting up accounts for family members

If i sign him up on a guest account will he need an email to set it up. Also, can anyone in my family walk in and turn it on with the xbox on comand even if i am the only account in the system or does it have to be me?Click to expand...

No email needed for a guest account, it works same as it did on 360. Anyone can use voice commands regardless of having an account.

Multiplayer games that dont require Gold account?

I cant do splitscreen Halo games(ranked obviously) or Campaign with a guest account. Neither on the Gears remastered game, my brothers share an xbox so Im trying to find games we can all 3 play together online at same time. If I buy my other brother a Live account it should work right? And also the Mic should work? I figured Id ask before getting another year of gold

To be sure I understand your question, you are trying to play Black Ops II with a guest signed into your Xbox 360, correct? Are you also playing using an account that has Xbox Live Gold at the same time?

You must have a registered account with Xbox LIVE. Guests ONLY work when playing online with a registered account on the same console.

also adding on that when we try to play MW3 it see the guest account as an regular account and says that xbox live isnt on for the guest account

If your Xbox account has Xbox Live gold, you can add a Guest account on your xbox that guest will share your live membership features while logged in to your xbox that includes voice chatting.

no as long as u are signed in he can be a guest or use his account it will work under your live if you are both playing on the same pc
