    Live Gold subscription keeps running out too soon ?


    When I got an Xbox One S I had a code to redeem so I did which I think was suppose to last for 14 days however only had roughly 7. So I subscribed with the offer of £1 for a month but same problem roughly only 7 days. Any idea why this is ?

    Wait so you get 2 free games every month even if you stop paying for Gold??

    Yeah, unless something has changed recently, you get to keep your Xbox 360 gold games.

    But the Xbox One gold games you need to have an active subscription.

    What is your favorite feature of Live?

    I never really knew everything that was available with a Live subscription until I ran across the FAQ when looking for an answer to another question. I found out that ESPN, SyFy and NBC are all available to watch on Live with a Gold membership. HBO is coming soon as is VeVo. What is your favorite non-gaming feature of Xbox Live?

    Hi there!

    Did you check your subscription status on account.microsoft.com and then select the Subscription & Services tab at the top. You can also check the status on your Xbox One console from Settings>Account>Subscriptions. It tells you what subscription cycle you
    had, whether they were trials or not, and when they canceled or if it's still active. if it shows it's still active, then console troubleshooting would need to be done.

    If it shows canceled before the time it was supposed to cancel, you would need to contact Xbox Support to look into your account for you.

    I kept looking at the subscriptions each time I subscribed but it never showed any info. The only info was on the iPhone App and only said runs out 1st Dec, today and it has.

    It's only been 2 weeks in total because I got a Monitor on the 17th.

    Hey there espr3ss001!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue. Now, when it comes to troubleshooting your issue, I strongly suggest trying to remove and then redownload your account as outlined in

    How to add or remove a Microsoft account on Xbox One
    to see if that helps.

    Unfortunately, Forums members can't really look into and manipulate account details so you would have to contact support if you want that done.

    You basically go to the contact us page as previously posted, choose a category
    (Xbox One) , a topic (My account), and
    Show contact options
    to either get a call or chat with a rep.

    The contact options though, might differ for your region. You just might have to request a call if no troubleshooting helps resolve this.

    Yes. I'm guessing the redeemed code did last for 14 days and the £1 option did not. So as the offer at the moment is £6 for 3 months I've opted that and everything shows as it should.

    To be honest I am not totally sure about that one, it may be a glitch, I would recommend reaching out to MS Customer Support for help on this one.
