Live / gold sharing at different locations at same time?

Hi,

My son and i share our xbox one, we have different gamer tags but they are on my account as i pay for the live gold.

Ive now gotten a second Xbox for when he visits his grandparents. Is it possible that he can log into this new xbox and be able to see his downloads and play under his same gamer tag, and i play at home at the same time? Surely if we had 2 xbox in the same
house (siblings for example) they could share live / gold? But what about 2 boxes that are separated across towns?

yes is possible, you should download your profile on it so you will have access to the games and subscriptions you have purchased, but you must download on each device of each game separately since not by making a download on your home xbox means that

make the Xbox at the Grandparents your Home Xbox and he can play there no problem then when ever he wants to play on your Xbox you sign in first then switch accounts/profiles to his account and he will be able to play all the games as long as you are still
signed in in the background.

the only downside is that if you lose internet you can only play digitally purchased games on the Home Xbox (at the Grandparents).

Put your account as principal in the new console so your child can play without problems

If he's bought any of the games on his account, he can sign in and play them on any console. If they were purchased under your account, he would only have access to them on your Home console and you can only have 1 console set as your Home at a time.
