    Live Gold purchase without subscription?


    I'm trying to purchase an Xbox Live Gold membership for the next 12 months through the store on my Xbox One but don't want to purchase it as a subscription, just a one time payment to have the membership for the next 12 months and have it automatically expire
    without me having to cancel the subscription. Is this possible, and if so, where do I find the option in the store? So far all I can do is click "join".

    you will be unable to play on xbox live without xbox live gold so make sure you purchase it

    If you buy straight from Xbox, it's going to start a subscription and you can turn off auto-renewal. In order to not deal with that, you'll want to purchase a digital code from microsoftstore.com, Amazon, or any other retailer (which is usually cheaper too).

    My microsoft account (or any) dosen't let me play realms, servers or multiplayer even though my settings are all allow, redid them and logged out and in a few times

    It's because you need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play the game, YuhanLK. Once you purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription you should be able to play the game without any issues.

    It does not seem likely that free 2 play games will ever be available to play without first purchasing an xbox live gold subscription.

    The 360 games you can keep without a gold subscription, but in order to keep playing Xbox One Games with Gold without purchasing the game, you do have to have a gold subscription.

    Silver is just an account without a gold subscription. So if you haven't purchased a gold subscription, you already are silver.
