    me and my friend are sharing our Xbox Live gold and he put the code he purchased in a store in his account but on my account it doesn’t let me play my monthly games with gold and also buy games with the gold discount could you help me?

    xbox live is having some issues so that may be the problem.
    It worked earlier for me and there was a monetary value for each of the Gold bundles (no REQ points)

    in order to download Games with Gold for free, you will need a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription, any free trials will not count as Gold to allow purchasing those Games with Gold games for free
