Live gold on 2 xboxes with 2 children

OMG! I have been going around in circles for hours! My scenario:

My 2 children have an xbox one s each.

We have a family account. I’m the adult, they are the children.

I want them to both have access to xbox live.

I only want to pay once for xbox live.

I don’t want them to have access to my account and credit card

How is this not easy?!

Really, in order for both children to use gold on both consoles, you would need to add gold to one of their accounts. You can do so by using a prepaid gold card instead of using a credit card on their account. The child with gold would set one of the consoles
as their Home console. The child without gold would use the Home console and the child with gold would use the non-Home console. The Home setting is what allows gold to be shared. https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

Otherwise, if you were to add gold to your account, you could set a console as your Home, but you can only share on 1 console so both kids would have to use the same console in order to use gold.
