Live Gold not showing in new console

Since your gamertag shows as Free here on the forums, I think the problem is that you aren't Gold at all. The 30 day Gold trial offered to new gamertags created on a console is a true Gold membership and shows as such on the forums; since your gamertag
shows as Free, you didn't get the Gold trial. (In contrast, the 48 hour Trial codes included in some games offer certain online multiplayer features but do
not show the gamertag as Gold.)

Since you've got played games going back years, I think you've misunderstood the 30 day Gold trial. It is only offered to new gamertags created on a console (up to three new GTs). If you download your old gamertag to the new console, you do not get another
Gold trial.

Actually when you create a new LIVE account on a new console, you get a 1 month trial. The console has three total of these. This would also show as LIVE member on the forum (gold colored name).

OP: How did you redeem this time? Did you get a code? Did you enter it on Xbox.com or on the console?

Deleting and redownloading your gamertag should have gotten that working for you. I would recommend contacting phone support for further assistance with this as it should only have taken a couple of hours at most for the membership to populate your gamertag
on the console.

But before you do that can you please try accessing a multiplayer gamer to see if you can get on? If you can then the membership is working.

Another thing you could try is to download this month's Game With Gold which is The Walking Dead episodes 1-5. They are free at the moment.

How do i contact supprt. Been trying to find out. Frustrating.

You will want to make sure you are logged into the correct profile, possibly sign out and back in just in case it is a sync issue. Also log into your account management online to make sure that the account has Gold on it.
