Live GOLD needed for Single Player on Microsoft Flight Sim 2020

You can try going to your settings then network then setting your console to offline mode. I would first attempt this but I'm not sure this will work due to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 only being released in a closed beta. If you wish to play it you
may have to purchase xbox live gold.

No you can't play FSX on console but a newer version of flight simulator that is being released later this year is currently in closed Beta. Only people signed up for the beta can participate.

Anyway, you should be able to play it alone without a subscription, BUT the game has to connect to download ground, cloud and other hi-definition textures.

you don't need an xbox console but you require an xbox account which you already have by having a microsoft account. you can then get the latest flight sim 2020 if your pc is of good spec.

the older flight sim is playable with tweaks and plenty of flight sim forums will be the best place to get that game working again.
