Live Gold Membership not showing in console

Hi

I recently bought a xbox console and few days ago I bought xbox live gold membership from this webpage. I can see it in the browser that I'm member but it does not seem to be showing in my console. I have tried downloading my profile again and turning the
console off and on few times but without success. If I go to manage membership in the settings->Account part of the console it just searches for the app forever.

Do I need to do anything on my console to activate it or am I missing something?

I'm new to Xbox just so that is clear

Just checking but do you have a gold membership?

Ive checked your profile and its not showing gold.

You need to have a gold membership to play Xbox live

 

Deleting and redownloading your gamertag should have gotten that working for you. I would recommend contacting phone support for further assistance with this as it should only have taken a couple of hours at most for the membership to populate your gamertag
on the console.

But before you do that can you please try accessing a multiplayer gamer to see if you can get on? If you can then the membership is working.

Another thing you could try is to download this month's Game With Gold which is The Walking Dead episodes 1-5. They are free at the moment.

 

I can play Call of Duty: Black Ops online. But I still cannot find my Gold content. I will give it some time and see if it show up and call support if that does not work. thanks for your help onyx62is
