    Live Gold Codes not working


    been trying to redeem 12 month codes online for 16 days. Not getting anywhere with Xbox support. Case been escalated. I have even restored the account and nothing. But when I purchase one month via my bank card it works!!! End of the road!!!

    Hi,

    I would suggest you reach back to Xbox Support to see the status of your case. Typically when they escalate a case, you should get a email within a week from the team who handles support escalations. If they see there is a problem with redeeming content
    on your account, then they would be the only team who is contactable to fix it.

    XBOX Live Gold Account Issue

    I had the same issue for a few days, but finally found a fix.

    Submitting the Gold Live trial code via the console will not work, it will run you in circles all day long. You must do it through the website,
    https://account.xbox.com/ (subscriptions>Buy Xbox Gold>Redeem Code).

    After submitting the Gold Live trial code this way, it worked for me. I hope it works for everyone that is having this issue as well.

    Just to add to above if you already have an Xbox Live gold membership then the trial code will not work until your current live membership expires. Once your membership arrives the code should then work.
