Live Gold code increase my subscription for 1 month

Hello, I bought Xbox one X 2 days ago and I have codes valid to 06/30/2019, I take my Xbox to hostel and I want to play with friends so I bought in Monday 3 months subscription. My question is, when I request for new
code, it will increase my subscription by 30 days?

Yes depending you the code received it could extend your Gold membership by 3, 6 or 12 Months so long as it's an Xbox live gold code

OK, but I buy Xbox fallout edition and inside was code for fallout 76, manual and expired codes for Live gold and Gamepass. So when code is trial I can or can't increase my subscription?
