Live Gold and Game Pass, why we have to pay for 2 services when it should be "ONE"

Good afternoon folks,

I came here because I'm totally disappointed with Microsoft, first of all, we must pay each year for Gold to be able to play any multiplayer online games, that is already bad as hell, and the worst, now we have the Game Pass monthly service, which is like
a netflix that provides games while we pay for it, why don't we have just one service that provides us monthly games and let us play online, why must I pay for Live Gold and also Game Pass to enjoy my console 100% with no restrictions? I think this is wrong!

But why is it the publishers fault? Why not Microsoft? Games with online passes are not even running on Microsoft servers. Should Microsoft really be forcing us to be a gold member to play a game on somebody elses servers? When are people going to realize
that we are not paying for Online Multiplayer? We are paying for a friends list and party chat. Does your idea of the 60.00 fee mean Netflix and Hulu should be included as well? These services require additional fees yet you still have to be Gold to access
them.

You get to play on dedicated servers.

As for your I pay for XBL argument. I pay for my phone line , why should I pay for my internet connection and for that matter I pay for my internet Connection , why should I have to pay for XBL....The argument is endless and pointless. If you dont buy a
new game, you need the online pass. No ifs or buts , thats just the way it is.

That's odd because when we purchase an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate the Xbox Live Gold subscription and Xbox Live Gold subscription should be converted as well. Do you have an option to pay for the normal game pass?

You pay for the privilege to play online multiplayer. The free games are a bonus on top that you get with the normal Gold benefits.

As a German, we also don't get certain games that are legally banned in our country. For example I had to pass on Gears of War or Crackdown when it was a Games with Gold game.

So you probably have to live with that
