Live connection test failed and I can't connect to live at all. Error code 8015190E and ...

Hi,

I bought a Xbox 360 while outside of my home country and I am currently connecting to a ZyXEL router.

For the past 7 hours I have been trying to get the console to connect to the internet, with absolutely no progress at all. I have tried to connect the Xbox 360 to the internet/Xbox Live through wireless and wired connections and I get the same results.

What usually happens is that whenever I do a connection test it connects to the router but never to the internet or Xbox Live. After this, it just says "test failed" and tells me to reset the router, which does nothing.

I have contacted Microsoft support who only took me through the basic troubleshooting that is available on the website.

I have tried to enable and disable uPnP.

I have tried to set DMZ.

I have tried to disable MAC filtering and tried putting the Xbox MAC address in the router.

I have tried port forwarding while following the guides on xbox.com

I have also tried downloading the update to a USB and updating the system that way.

I have tried clearing the cache and formatting the hard drive.

For about 5 minutes I randomly connected to Live and I was able to download the Netflix app, before the console said it "required an update", where the update menu went on continuous load screen for 20 minutes, before bugging out and kicking me out of live.
That was the only time i was able to connect, it just randomly connected itself and I haven't been able to get back on yet.

When i was connected, my gamerscore on the Xbox 360 was 75,000. As you can see from my profile here, that is not the case at all. Also, my avatar was completely wrong - The clothes were wrong, items were wrong and the face was wrong.

One suggestion said to delete my profile and it should work - it didn't. I now can't re-connect to live to download my profile to the console again.

I keep receiving the same 2 error codes: 8015190E and 80151014

Also noticing a lot of posts on this forum of people having the exact same errors - No one seems to have this issue fixed, so I am posting this thread. Is this a common issue? Is my xbox faulty?

It's frustrating because I am in another country and have no access to my Xbox One, I bought a 360 to download my old arcade games to play and i can't even connect to live to do that.

Can not connect to XBOX Live 06.12.2014

Today Im not abel at all to connect XBOX Live service. I have restarter the console and modem several times.

Xbox connection test fails in the end: Internet --X--> Xbox Live (fails).In the end it gives error code: 8015190E

Also tryed all thoses steps: Error 8015190E occurs when you try to connect to Xbox Live on your Xbox 360

My console is in UK region.

Im currently receiving the error code 8015190e on my xbox 360. when I test connection my console can connect to the internet but not to xbox live. i can delete and redownload my profile because I cant connect to xbox live on the system at all.

 

Woke up today and tried again after several hours - Exact same issue.

This is kind of pathetic, I can't even get my Gamertag on to this console. If it's not fixed by Saturday night I will be getting a full refund and just buying a PS3 instead.

 

This may as well be as much fault to you as to the people you bought the Xbox from. It very well could be that you live in a different region than what that Xbox was configured to work in. I would bet that if you went back to the country you bought it from,
it would work there. For example, you buy an Xbox in a country like Syria and take it to the US, it will not work.

The error codes you stated seem to back this up, as both point to corruption. I am assuming that you have cleared your cache. Sorry, but there isn't much you can do but get that refund.
