Live account banned, license transfer DLC??

Hello Forum,

My other Xbox live account was banned a while ago due to my credit card expiring, because the Xbox live new membership i purchased was renewing its self which i had no clue, and all of a sudden my live account was banned till 31/12/9999, i contacted customer
support at the time and they said it was due to the reasons i have stated in this post.

I wouldn't really care about this as i have a new account, but all of my purchased games and DLC is still linked to that account on my old console, so i cant play them on my new console, so i was wondering if my account could be un-banned permanently or
just for a day or two while i license transfer all my content to this new account and console and re download them again

if anyone from the Enforcement team could reply to this post and help me ASAP that would be a huge help,

Transfering Licenses between accounts

@Kz: You cannot transfer licenses between accounts or perform a (console) license transfer with a banned account. When an account is banned, all XBox Live time, DLC, MSP, etc. is forfeit, and you will need to re-purchase the content under a new gamertag
in order to access it.

Purple - A license transfer would not be possible because the account is banned and license transfers do not transfer licenses between accounts. There is no way to transfer content between accounts.

You will not get the account unbanned,especially to try & license transfer content to another account,which is also a bannable offence.

When an account is banned you forfiet any remaining live time,dlc etc. linked to that account.

 

no moderator has authorized my other post yet, and if its a bannable offence why is their the option to do it? i shouldnt be perma banned in the first place, just because of my credit card expiring? that's pathetic.

You don't normally get banned for a payment issue unless it went on for quite a while.

Like i said,you forfiet anything linked to that account when it's banned,you wont get that stuff back.

Trying to license transfer items between different accounts is classed as marketplace theft & a bannable offence.

 

Even though i have advised them first? i have over £80 worth of games and DLC on that account, and i will be angry if i dont get them back, i paid for the items which makes them mine, so its like they are stealing from me if this happens, if justice isnt
served ill be sure to be contacting BBC Watchdog and be telling them and letting others become aware of microsoft!

 

Why would you get permanently banned because your credit card expired? I don't understand, surely your account would just go silver if you couldn't pay for Gold??

because if you read the post properly i was paying for the membership monthly which i didn't know, so when they didn't get their money they banned me, i even called the customer support and they verified, i called customer support today to see if i could
get it unbanned with the license transfer and the gentleman on the phone said their has been many cases like this, so he redirected me to the forums, so dont get smart with me...your gamer tag is your name...

 

A suspension due to payment methods expiring is not 9999. Simply call support and pay any outstanding balance this should renew your account to access LIVE.

 

I have let my payments slip a few times all that happens is next time you try to upgrade to gold you will have to pay a month then pay the amount outstanding (normally a month [about £15] ) Try to do this first if that doesn't work then wait for a moderators
reply. They cannot ban a account perm because of a payment problem, that's bad customer service and it would Lose microsoft millions of customers every month if they couldn't afford it.

Also don't go expecting "your" dlc back, It clearly says before you buy anything that the item is not refundable and "if" and i use that word loosly you have done something out of the terms of service i personally believe you dont deserve your items back.
On the other hand if you havnt done anything wrong then do everything you believe is right to get your account unblocked.

I hope you havnt broken the terms of service and you get this problem sorted.

If you read the terms & conditions it states that any dlc,live time etc. is forfiet if your account is banned.

You agree to this when you start up your account so threatening to go to bbc's watchdog is not going to a thing.

If support did tell you to come here & post then they are wrong,they usually tell people that when they can't help.

 

Lol..brilliant. So you get banned because you credit card expired? Like others have said you would just go to silver until you card was updated. Folk are not daft around here and looking at your gamertag that has Call of Duty hacking written all over it
