Little brother accidentally changed region

My bro has been having payment issues with xbox for a while. The xbox keeps thinking we're in United States and always asking for State when trying to pay for games and stuff. i tried to change the region to Finland but you cant because it already is on
Finland! So i bought 20€ credit from gamestop to put it on his xbox account but you cant even do that because it says im in the wrong region!

So i logged in to his xbox account on PC and i managed to add the credits to the microsoft account not the xbox one. So without asking me my brother managed to change the Region to some random country and now the account is messed up also! And now it wants
us to wait 3 months.. i was thinking of buying an Xbox One shortly after my brother got his 360 but now i bought a PS4 because it seems that Microsoft still cant fix issues that have been going on for years! So can anyone change the Region back to Finland
or is there nothing else to do???

Region Lock

As Daft Badger says, Blu Rays have always been region locked on the Xbox One, any chance you may have accidentally changed your region?

You can try contacting support, but there is no guarantee they can do anything. Otherwise, you'll have to wait the 3 months.

It's extremely difficult to "accidently" change your region.As Digital has said,you will have to wait 3 months to change it back.

I highly doubt support will let you do it earlier.

Probably because of all the people who "accidentally" select another region then call support to reverse it

Or the people who fall for phishing attempts and the phisher changes the region out of spite

You only can change to the 9 new regions not existing regions
