literally cannot play any downloaded games on my Laptop

Not only is my HP Pavilion practically Brand new (bought it about mid march, is currently june 23) but it was also about $200can extra for the specs that made it "a gaming laptop, fit for optimal portable pc gaming". I cannot run csgo or WOT on this thing
what so ever, I get about -5 fps when playing either. I dont even want to bother downloading anything like Apex legends or GTA because I know they will not run. I have my graphics card selected for high performance, but quite frankly this thing doesn't even
run google chrome all that well when plugged in. The problem is mostly when the laptop is plugged in, when not plugged in, the pavillion will run things like youtube and twitch fine, and games are pretty un enjoyable but still somewhat playable. when plugged
in, the pavilion runs youtube and twitch pretty ok, with a few hiccups here and there. however, running a game when it's plugged in is almost impossible. my "gaming mode" is turned on. the plugged in part would not be as much of an issue if the laptop didn't
have such a small battery to make it lighter. I have LITERALLY only installed discord, steam, google chrome, a few picture for custom backgrounds, csgo, WOT, and microsoft teams for school. Literally all that I have installed. does anyone have a solution,
or do I just have a lemon? because I have a pretty hard time believing that a steaming pile of trash such as the pavilion has an $800can price tag.

You do realize this is an Xbox support forum? You would probably have better luck on HP support site.

Keep in mind, most laptops aren't really designed to play videos games. But it does sound like you have an issue. Have you tried checking and updating the drivers for your laptop? Also make sure your laptop isn't overheating, or thermal throttling the CPU.

They got them from playing games related to the images, most likely. Any gamer picture is usually related to a game, contest on xbox live, or a promotional picture for a company (for example, Ford) Sorry, but you cannot download just any picture, and you
can't download gamer pictures from your laptop either.

Unfortunately this did not solve the issue.

Keep in mind that I was able to download games that I have never downloaded in my other PC, it's only games where I've downloaded in my other PC that I cannot download on my laptop.

If he has a laptop with only 2GB of RAM, then he doesn't have any of the above. And therefore cannot play it. 4GB has become a standard for laptops that aren't even designed for games these days.
