Been following this thread since it started. Why will MS not acknowledge this problem. Posts and tweets do nothing. Audio for me go's out of sync in general for everything I do on the One. No last gen consoles did it. Turning it off and on without a full
restart fixes it for me but it will un-sync again.

Lip Sync Issues when playing blu-ray on Xbox One.

Ya know, i just don't get it. I am in California, never have seen a blu ray update on my XBOne. To this day, almost 4 "system updates" later, my blu ray's & DVD's have audio sync problems. Watched the Lego movie last night (blu ray) and it was off. My
kids are asking why Will Ferral's lips didn't match words? sigh......

Not pertinent to this thread, but the Amazon Instant Video app still gives stuttering playback, the MLB app freezes and does not work half the time. I have Verizon Quantum Fios folks! Like 60 over 30!

My PS4 you ask? My Blu-Ray works perfect. Amazon app streams flawlessly and MLB app never has a problem.

XBone Support, are u listening? This thread is 30 pages deep! Publicly acknowledge the problem. UPDATE the blu ray app! My 360 in basement never had a problem with any of this plus could distinguish the DTS vs DOLBY signal without my having to physically
    change it like XBone.

I *think* this has finally been solved. Movies now appear to be in sync, and the new audio options allowing me to send uncompressed 5.1 to my receiver probably help as well. I'm going to test it for a while before moving my Panasonic blu-ray player (got
burned day one rewiring my HT only to have to put it all back how it was once the Xbox clearly couldn't play movies correctly).

Awesome...apparently Microsoft prohibits posting of links. So much for pointing people to an entry in their feedback voting system.

Odd... I've seen plenty of links posted in the past without any issues. Wonder why that one was removed?

They don't appreciate it when you say anything negative. I had a post removed that basically said my 7 year old PS3 performs great while the one doesn't... The reason on the email stated it was removed because I posted a link which I clearly did not. This
    will never get resolved.

  10. There's nothing in the forum guidelines saying links aren't allowed, but there are guidelines on what links should point to... I.e. Nothing illegal, against the forums etc. If you think a link has been removed for the wrong reasons, you could try contacting
a mod and asking them, or maybe there's a forum for asking those sorts of questions?

  11. Hey guys! The link was removed because it does actually go against the
    Guidelines we have set up.

I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread. If you still have an issue with the lip-sync issues on Blu-rays and all the steps in this very long thread hasn't helped you, please feel free to post a new thread detailing your issues.

    4K?

The Xbox One is a terrible Blu-Ray player, Lip Sync issues and disc skipping. So much for the all in One device.

    3D blu-ray

All Blu-ray players use software for playback. It is called firmware and generally is user updateable. The Xbox One is a proper Blu-ray player that has issues at the moment. Lip sync and no 3D playback among them.

    3D blu-ray

Neither the Xbox One nor the PS4 can play 3D Blu-Rays yet. It will be aded to both later on I presume. If people are having issues with jumping movies or lip-sync issues, have you tried enabling the 24 frames option in the Blu-Ray settings, to see if that
    helps?

    Netflix 1080p@24fps

Now they just have to fix the lip sync issue for Blu-ray when you have the 24 fps enabled and it will be usable... :(

    Bluray out of sync

I'm having trouble with Lip-sync also. Tried Star Trek The Next Generation Season 2 Blu-ray it was really badly out of sync. Also tried Battlestar Galactica Season One Blu-ray, not quite as badly out of sync but was still out of sync.
