This hasn't been an issues for a while now have tested 60+ films and the lip-sync no-longer seems to be an issues on films that used to do it.

Not sure why a handful of people are still having problems and it is only a handful, all I can think is ether there blu-ray app has not updated properly or the audio settings on the Xbox itself are cupport and need resetting.

If your still having problems can you delete the Blu-ray app ->power cycle Xbox ->Reinstall app and test, if still a problem then go to settings ->Disc & Blu-ray -> presistant storage -> clear, then settings ->Display & Sound->Change the audio to something
different (doesn't matter what)->Power Cycle xbox.

Now your xbox has restarted again go back to Display & Sound and reset the Audio to what you had before and test a film you know to have been a problem, Let us know what happens.

I know this seems like a lot of work but this will hopefully force the xbox to clear any corrupt code that is coursing the problem as it is something that has and should be fixed

  3. The good news for me is that the lip sync problem seems to have been rectified for me. Watched a few blu rays now and everything seems hunky-dory. I can ditch the old blu ray player now.

  4. Lip Sync Issues when playing blu-ray on Xbox One.

I don't have the lip sync issues anymore, but at some point I started having choppy video. If I reset the xbox, the problem goes away for a while. Then I play a few games and blu rays are unwatchable again. Every couple of seconds the video will jump. I
don't understand why this is so hard. I usually give up, put the blu ray in my PS3, and it just works.

  5. Yeah, I've seen some, what look like missed frames, when playing DVDs. Not sure if it's just during the new 50hz mode, as I think I saw some before that last update. Haven't noticed anything with blu-rays yet.

  6. Hi all, my two peneth also. I have not been getting any issues with lip sync really to speak of but get really poor playback from the video with it jumping frames. I did resolve the problem by changing from 24 to 60hz and restarting the xb1. But why should
I, now over 6 months to sort this out and we are still getting the issues. What are MS saying to be honest I am glad at the moment that I didn't get rid of my ps3 since at the moment the quality of the br playback is far superior. Sort if MS or I may actually
    get ridd.

I am having Lip Sync issues as well. With standard DVDs to boot. I think it isn't keeping or passing the true audio track. I put in a Dolby 2.0 disk that outputted from my 360 correctly. 2.0 Dolby so my Receiver used its DSP to PLII Movie. Through the
Xbox One the receiver stayed lit with Dolby Digital 5.1. I thought maybe it was because I selected Bitstream Dolby. So I changed it to LPCM Decompressed. Same sync issues.

Maybe it is something to do with the overlay of the OS or something, but with discs it isn't passing everything directly. It is processing it somehow. Not true bistream.

I am experiencing the same problem and it is really bugging me. I've had my XB1 since midnight the first day and this has always been a problem. I'll start a movie (Blu Ray or DVD) and as time goes by the lip sync issue gets worse and worse. Not very
obvious at first but as time goes by it gets terrible. Why is this still an issue seven months later? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the blu ray app, I've tried resetting my xbox, I've tried taking the 24hz off. NONE WORK. I've been a loyal
customer since the original xbox, but this is testing me. Please help Xbox.

  10. I'm having the same problem with the sync (or lack of).

Tried all the above, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, power clycling the console, taking off 24hz, full system restore and even got the shop I bought it from to exchange the console for a new one.

None of it has worked, would really appreciate a fix for this!

Glad I kept the 360 which I use for films now.

At this point it's comical that all these problems are still happening with no response from M$. They are either clueless on how to fix it or don't care and I don't know whats worse. I have given up on the XBone as the "all in one media center" that we were
promised it would be. We were lied to. Plain and simple. Does the XBone stream Netflix in HD issue free? Nope. Does it stream my movies on my home network? Nope. Does it play blu-rays with out jittering or lip-sync issues? Nope. Do you know what does? My 7
    year old PS3.
