Lip-Sync issues playing DVD/BLU-RAY

Has anyone come up with a solution to fix the Audio-lag problems Xbox One has playing DVD/BLU-RAY films ? why haven't Microsoft resolved this issue the Xbox One has had from Day one !

Blu-Ray Player App Problem...

I had the same happen with one of my Blu-ray discs.. But all the others worked ok.

Not tried a DVD yet.

The Blu-ray playback has lip-sync problems, so they will hopefully get this app thoroughly reviewed.

has this update fixed the "lip sync" issues people have been having with blu ray playback like myself?

Sorry to hear about the Audio or lag problems. Can you list the things you've done to try and fix this issue with your BLU-RAY or DVD films. This will allow us to focus on new ways to get the sync issues up and running other then reusing things you've done
and save us both time.

I have tried everything listed in the forums not that I should have to do anything apart from put a Dvd/Blu Ray into the Xbox and press play. I'm not the only person experiencing this issue, if you scour the forums you will find many.

I look forward to a solution as this is one of the reasons I bought the Xbox one. Is it actually a Blu Ray drive or a normal drive with a Blu Ray app to turn it into a sub standard Blu Ray drive ?

 

I suspect that it's a Blu-Ray Emulator rather than an official Player.

 

I had the same problem and hopefully have fixed it.

Uninstall the Bluray app > Clear persistent Storage in Bluray Settings > Perform hard reset > Reinstall Bluray app.

If you haven't tried this already I hope this might help

 

thebigvinski I congratulate you, I have been looking for answer to this problem since the launch of the Blu-Ray app. I played a Blu-Ray movie yesterday and it ran perfectly, Thank you very much for your suggestion and help.

 

Having said that have you tried playing a non Blu-Ray dvd ? Normal dvd's still have issues.

The DVD's were working just fine after the reset.

I had this issue when the Xbox one was first releases and it was fixed after an update. Afterv updating to the New Xbox Experienc, though, the issue has returned. The audio is actually playing slightly before the video. Watching the same movie on VUDU is
just fine. I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the app, clearing the persistent storage and doing a hard restart. The issue is still there.

Did this issue return for anyone else?
