    When I watch on
cabel tv through the xbox, the video are before audio.
    I have tried different hdmi
cables but it's never in sync.
When I see netflix through the Xbox is
the audio and video in sync. Is there something wrong with
my xbox or will MS fix it with
an update? When I plug in the cable
TV box directly into the TV are the audio
and video in sync. I have
    hdmi from cable TV box
to the Xbox and also hdmi
from the Xbox to the TV. I live in europé sorry for my bad english

    :)

    Lip Sync Issue

    Hello,

I'm a relatively new Xbox One owner, and not sure what the proper way to fix this problem, so I thought I would post. I currently have my Xbox One attached to my Smart TV via an HDMI cable, and then have a sound bar attached to the TV separately. When using
the Xbox One to play Bluray Discs of regular DVDs, I experience Lip Sync issues. The audio runs much faster than the video. My Xbox is fully updated and I have tried to delete and re-download the dvd/bluray player app. I've unplugged the soundbar and have
tried just the TV, but still have the same issue.

I'm not sure what else I should try. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

For the record this has nothing to do with '50Hz issue'.

It's caused by the xbox one not being able to transcode surround sound fast enough and is another one of the problems caused by inadequate hardware. It happens on my American xbox one with 60Hz output and is one of the primary reasons I'm waiting to get
a refund on my xbox live 'gold'.

having the same exact issue plus degraded picture quality as compared to the stb being directly connected to the TV. Im in new york with a 60hz box so this is def an issue that needs to be addressed.

What worries me is that the problem hasn't been resolved with so many updates having been deployed.

I would really hope that the issue isn't a hardware one!

Cant remember if I posted this elsewhere, but when I plug my headphones into my controller and listen in stereo at the same time there is a very noticeable delay between that and the 5.1 output.

Same problem here. Watching tennis and the sound of the ball hitting the racket is off @ 1 sec. Highly noticeable and annoying

The tennis was a brilliant programme to highlight this problem!

I still cannot accept that a machine of this power would struggle to transcode quickly enough... no way!!

I'm also suffering from this issue.

I'm running vision to the TV via HDMI and audio to a surround amp via optical cable. Sync issues are common but certainly more pronounced in some cases. The lag can be close to a half second at it's worst (vision before sound) which makes viewing very difficult.

This issue affects cable TV and also internal services such as Netflix.

In my case I can't detect any difference between headset audio via the controller and the surround output via speaker.

I have 50Hz enabled, but disabling that option didn't seem to make any difference. I have tried several hard resets but to no avail.

I use a Yamaha V375 amp. I've scoured it's settings and ensured there are no audio delay settings in operation. I've also done the same with the cable box.

  14. I have this issue, as well as the resolution one. Have tried the usual, new hdmi, resets, etc. I am beginning to think this system is going to be a big sore on MS. I can't understand why it has issues like this as just a pass thru.
