Link Facebook Xbox One?

Hoping Xbox adds this in as maybe you older fans don't use it but I'm 19 and use FB a hell of a lot alongside all my mates. Don't understand why twitter and not Facebook

 

I use it.. and I would think a very vast majority of the population does as well.

Now why no facebook?? I ask this?? Why facebook? No reason to post my gaming habits to a social media site... I mean..my family and friends are already angry at the multiple game invites posts on there already...

I try to limit how much "access" I give Facebook to my world....

Every time my email address has been compromised (everyone I know "supposedly" receiving spam email from me) has happened by way of me giving access to one of the Facebook "apps".

I never use "login using Facebook" and I certainly have no desire to link my X1 account to Facebook.

 

if you look up the definition of Facebook, it would say ~ A social medie site where you can see photos of cats, what your friends are having for dinner, videos of not so smart people doing not so smart things and the daily dose of drama of reading a one
way conversation as most people are smart enough to NOT friend that ONE person

I agree with tohellnbak. People are already angry about the gaming invites and posts they receive on facebook. Why have continuous updates about my gaming or what I'm doing just so they can be angrier than they already are. Facebook has too much access to
people's lives as is. Don't you want to do something without your friends knowing about it?

Well, PS4 has the social media app for Facebook so i was just mainly curious that xbox one would have the app as well. Since it is after all an ALL IN ONE console you'd figure they'd have it lol.. Yes i'm addicted to facebook..

 

I'm honestly glad there's no way to integrate it. Facebook has a way of having way too much malicious software embedded in places you wouldn't even realize.

 

They changed the Xbox boss after Xbox 1 came out. He's Phil and Xbox 1 is about games games games and the management now is better because he admitted they made some mistakes with Xbox 1. I think the previous management wanted it to be an All in One masterpiece
in your living room. What I want it to be is Xbox, like Xbox 360. As for two years ago when I went to the registration page on Facebook's site multiple times, the page wasn't even secure, no padlock on the address bar, no httpS on it just http. Sorry I don't
give out personal info to a site which isn't secure. Xbox is secure. But they do have the registration page now with httpS or a padlock on the address bar. If Facebook were owned by Microsoft or Google, I'd sign up because those companies are good with online
security.

 

theres an easy way, just forward your clips through you twitter account, any video I tweet is forwarded to my facebook feed, you have to choose this option on twitter.

 

Who doesn't have a facebook these days lol

There was a facebook app on 360 for a while, and it was by far the worst and dysfunctional facebook apps i've ever used.

I think they just kind of discontinued it eventually it was so bad.
