Link between ESO PC account and Xbox account?

I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fan and since this is getting released first on PC in April I likely won't be able to wait to play though I would prefer to play on Xbox (50inch TV trumps 25 inch monitor).



Does anyone know if it will be the same account for both platforms? As in, if I start a character on PC will I be able to play that same character on the Xbox?

Game Stats Transfer

No you can't link your stats and operators between pc and xbox.

 

Gamertag is our Character name?... or will we have a character name linked to our GT?

You have eight individual characters, and can choose their names. From what I understand, you link your ESO account (@name) and your gamertag on Xbox.

 

I am certain there will be no "Cross-Platform" elements.



It would be an interesting question to ask on the official Bethesda Forums but I expect there will be seperate Megaservers for each platform.

 

Yeah, they've stated already that they will be separate.

1 for PC/Mac.

1 for Xbox One.

1 for PS4.

 

That's what I thought....oh well!

It depends on the sub.



I'm not paying £15.00 a month 30 days after paying full game price for the game. That's just greedy.



But there's talk of them offering discounts if you commit to a longer period.



We'll have to see what they offer.

I'm originally a PC gamer so I don't think I will be able to wait. Going to get a X-Box ONE eventually though because I am a huge Halo fan.

 

I don't like PC gaming, so I'll eventually do the Xbox version.

 

Also a huge Elder Scrolls games fan .. and beta testing ESO now...although can't say very much about it!! Very disappointed about not being able to have one account on PC and XBOX.. not paying for both ..think they are shooting themselves in the foot
and to be honest not sure they should have made it an MMO in the first place.

 

This game was made to answer the demand for an MMO in the ES universe.

 

I don't mind it going into the MMO world but I do question its ability to be successful on all platforms. I would love for it to be big on the Xbox ONE but I think PC will have the biggest ESO community. I can see some guys moving to console from the PC
version once it is released though and if you could just transfer your PC character over it would be great. I would even pay to be able to do that. I can see myself investing a fair bit of time into this game.
