    So Iv recently updated my security setting on my Microsoft account (change the phone number) and now I cannot link my Xbox account to call of duty anymore. I believe the accounts unlinked when I made the request to change the phone number on the account. I waited the month to see if the accounts would link when the new details had been updated. its really frustrating as I have tried many different options.

    When I try to link my xbox account on the call of duty website, I get an access denied page come up. and when I try doing the same thing from my Ipad, it just refreshes the page, does not let me continue .

    I really dont want to start this progress again and I have spent good money on the game.

    I think, there should be service that shifts things from one account to another one. maybe not for merge, one is obsolete.

    You don't need to worry as you can't link two accounts.

    Linked Accounts

    t's easy to remove any Microsoft account from an Xbox One console; because you don't have to sign in to the account. Here's how:

    1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
    2. Select System, then Settings.
    3. Select Account, then Remove accounts.
    4. Select the account that you want to remove, then select Remove to confirm.
    5. When you're finished, select Close.
