Limiting which xbox ix home xbox

I have 3 boys and myself who play xbox , all have their own xbox live account, i have 2 xbox ones, i did not realise or notice any info about the amount of times u are limited to switching xboxs as the home xbox,, 4 people trying to play at different time,
different games, i find it ridiculous that i am unable to swith each xbox to my home xbox when ever i choose, being familiar wth coding i know its just an arbitrary amount and cannot not think of any reasonable reason why it is only 3 times a year that i
can switch xboxes to be my home xbox,,

Anybody have a suggestion or solution other than pulling out what lttle hair i have left

I'm afraid it won't be possible to preorder it from the store, but maybe they'll announce it in the following days.

Which error code appeared? Has the 5 limit already been exceeded (with Home Xbox) with that specific account?

You can change which console is your home Xbox up to three times during a one-year period.

If limit has been reached, contact Xbox Support, they can have the limit be reset.

You can try contacting support
https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/contact-us & they may reset the limit but are under no obligation to do so.

If not then you'll have to wait 12 months.

If you want that counter reset then you will have to contact support directly as they are the only ones that can do it. Keep in mind since there is a 3 change per year limit they are not obligated to do it but definitely worth a try.
