    limited use of controler for minecraft game


    I am having problems with my Xbox 1 Minecraft game. Only on my profile I cannot look around using the right stick however other profiles can. We checked the settings and all the settings are the same as the other profiles. The mini character that shows up
    on the upper left side animates it's self correctly with the controller's movements but my point of view doesn't change. No matter what controller I use with my profile it does the same thing and doesn't let me use the right stick for looking around.

    What's your Kinect plan out of the box?

    I'll definitely use it. Voice control and gesture navigation have been a part of the way I use my 360, now. A more powerful box and device sounds exciting.

    As for the games...well...meh. At least until devs prove that they will implement it in useful and creative ways (as opposed to the limited motion games we've had, so far). I'm yet to be convinced that it'll be all that, as a gaming control method.

    .

    But hey...my imagination, regarding the Kinect, is limited by what it's been so far. I'd be stoked to see it used in way I hadn't thought of, yet.

    getting mods/ trial skins

    Is there any way to get minecraft mods(galactic craft, lion king, etc.) onto the Xbox?

    do the trial skins have a limited time for use?

    This happened in of our games before and it was quite annoying as it was only player 1 that couldn't use the right stick.. In the minecraft menu went and did the following:

    Help & Options --> Settings --> Restore to Default

    Help & Options --> Controls --> Restore to Default

    that fixed the problem.

    minecraft USED to be on game pass (at least for xbox it was) but they took it out since games on game pass are only there for a limited time.

    Battlefield is a DIFFERENT game entirely. It has always been about massive number of players and the game for both PC and console are built specifically to house the number of individuals the platform can sustain. PC numbers being larger due to the servers
    and hardware limit.

    The same is true here, the PC version of Minecraft has a much larger ability to use hardware and host servers that aren't run directly off one system which is why their numbers are huge. The Xbox version is limited because of hardware issues. For them to
    give us the option of renting servers would require them to provide those said servers and maintain them for the player base to use and would also require them to add a server searching option.

    .

    At the same time I could see them trying to bump the number of players in a single game up but I wouldn't hold my breath. The space in Minecraft for Xbox is limited as it is with each world having a limit, a smaller skybox, limited nether and performance
    only controlled through the power of the console itself.
