Limited download speed, allthough games are terminated

Hello,

Recently I've noticed a thing with my Xbox Series X and I can't understand what the problem is.

So... to start off with, I am very well aware off that the download speed is limited while I'm playing games but this is not the same kind of thing.

My speed from my ISP is 500/500.

So, the big problem I have is that my dowloading speed is limited to appx. 30 Mbps allthough all games are suspended.

A normal case:
I start a dowload, get full speed (appx. 270 Mbps).
I choose to start a game. I play for a while.
I leave the game.
The download speed is limited since the game is "Quick resume".
I press the button to "suspend all games".
The speed doesn't recover, it maintains at "You-play-a-game, we-reduce-the-speed-speed" and 30 Mbps tops.
I make a full shut down of the console.
I start it up and the speed is back to normal, i.g. 270 Mbps.

What is going on? I've searched so many forums but I don't see people experiencing the same thing. I don't know what to do really...

Thank you for your reply.

I have been in contact with Xbox Support via Microsoft, over the phone and they asked me to try a console reset. I tried and it solved the problem for the moment, but now it's back again. Things don't work as they should.

I have made a NAT Test and it gives me "Moderate".

Any idea where to go from here?

Microsoft regularly limits download speeds to limit the possibility of overloading its servers.

Sometimes the servers you are downloading the game from can limit the down load speed .

Sometimes servers stop higher download speeds or throttling to protect them from crashing. Basically they limit download speeds for consistency.
