  1. Limitations for family doesn't extend to XBox

So I have added a few of my children onto my Microsoft account. I have also limited the amount of time they can be on any of my Microsoft devices. Those settings are done on the web, and it works for my laptop and my other desktop computer. When their time
is up, the device logs them out.

But that setting/feature doesn't work on my Xbox one. The only thing I can set for my children's accounts is silly privacy settings and who they can friend or not etc...

No where on the Xbox one can I limit the time my kids can have on the device.

No where on the Xbox one can I limit what hours my kids can login to the device.

No where on the Xbox can I 'disable' their account on the device. I can remove them from the family altogether, but not simply disable.

I am very very disappointed with the Xbox one. If the Sony PlayStation gives me control like this: Someone please tell me.

    :)

    Screen time set up

    PTMQ,

The best section for a feature like this may be our
    Home, Xbox Guide, and Settings
section. However, I am happy to share that shortly after your post was made, a family timer feature was introduced! Parents who have child accounts can now set screen time limitations through our
Microsoft Family page. Be sure to be signed into the parent account to set those limitations.

    Hope this helps.

    5 days really?

While I'm not privy to MS business strategies, my guess would be to curb abuse of the Family Pack so only legitimate families and family members use it. If there were no limits and no wait time, you could add and delete people constantly (friends, extended
family, etc.). Its there to keep people honest.

Why isn't family sharing working on my account?

There's not a thing for family sharing. There is the Home setting on consoles that allows you to share with other profiles that use that console. It doesn't extend to the PC.

    Screen Time

This page here has some steps to follow if
Screen Time is not working as expected.
It also has a link to another page for further family feature troubleshooting if that doesn't resolve your issue.

Do you know how the additional time is being added? Via the Microsoft Account family website? Or via a code on the console itself to authorize the extended time? That might also help provide more pointed troubleshooting for this issue for you.

Why is Game Pass family sharing not allowed in the US, but in other countries?

Microsoft doesn't allow the sharing of subscriptions via the home Xbox feature. With some limitations, just as others do.

There is a comprehensive family subscription package coming that is currently in testing and then a handful of countries

Family plans and X-box live gold.

your time left is added to the family pack and extends the subscription for the whole family. but the family sub is only extended by half of the time left on your subscription.

example: 2 months gold time on your account will add 1 month to the year subscription on the family pack.
