    Ok, I don't want to sound like an overly entitled gamer here, but now that it's been announced that those that played their xbox one on launch weekend received a free copy of Limbo I'd like to know why I didn't? I have the Day One achievement as I literally
    got mine on launch day (just as I did my 360) and definitely played on the launch weekend, yet I got nothing and I'm aware I'm not the only one.

    When I raised this with support on Twitter I was directed to Major Nelson's blog post about the anniversary promo that didn't even mention Limbo and told it was random and I should look out for future promotions. A bit harsh for someone who has 9 years on
    Live and owned all 3 xbox models, buying 2 at launch to be left out? All I got was a digital poster which I'm led to believe is an entirely separate promo. What's done is done and my contact with support through Twitter has made it quite clear I won't be getting
    Limbo now. However I think the handling of this entire promotion has been pretty haphazard and offering gifts at random is ill advised for keeping happy customers. So once and for all, could I get some clarification on why, when myself and others meet the
    criteria, were we left out of the Limbo promo?

    Date: March 2011

    Promo Item(s): Hydrophobia and I think Limbo (can't be sure, but I seem to remember it).

    If you could help pleeease get back to me ASAP, I want to know whether I should delete the trials or not.

  3. Never got Limbo Code

    Even though I am a Day One owner, (have the achievement and all) I never got my free Limbo code when MSFT was running the promo last month? I've been checking my messages/email and never got anything but a free icon pack.

    Did anyone else have this problem?

    I have not rec'd a code either and this is what was confirmed. I spoke to xbox support and they wont do anything other than tell me to post on hear normally i wouldn't be bothered but the fact that every one who has day one should get this and I didn't when
    I have 3 xbox 360's and xbox 1 windows phone, tablet and original box as well is like a kick in the teeth not being able to get this when every one who I know who has the day one has got this.

    Microsoft spokesperson "As a thank you to our earliest adopters, fans who played their Xbox One the first weekend of launch received early, free access to the game.

    "Limbo will also be available for purchase via the Xbox Game Store soon."

    Same here re Limbo,day one buyer and day one achievement obtained but no luck in getting the game,i spoke to Xbox Customer support and not much help from them,personally i feel she had no idea what the reason to me not getting it was.I've been on XBL since
    2003 and had hoped i would have got the game.I would've liked to know the real reason why i didn't receive it though.

    Bumping this. Got my console on day one and have played it pretty much every day since. A bit confused at not being included in this.

    Some early adopters get it but others don't? Seems unfair.

    So you've gone and just told me the exact same copy paste response I got from support on Twitter. As I stated. In the original post. Not greatly helpful to be honest, seems support are relying on the old 'be evasive until said unhappy consumer loses interest
    and moves along' approach in relation to issues with a well publicized promitional event. Very disappointed with the way this has been handled, I have to say. But I digress; you win, I've lost interest and I'm moving along.

    All I can say is that a word from someone with the ability to write in more than 160 character responses and a vague understanding of customer dissatisfaction management (like an actual human) would have perhaps helped ease the annoyance being experienced
    at being completely overlooked for a lot of people in the same boat.
