Likelihood of Xbox One being £250 or lower come end of the year?

I have always said I would pick up a Xbox One eventually. In my head I have been thinking around late 2015 or early 2016. As currently there is no exclusives that personally interest me at all. Other than PVZ, Dead Rising and the new Gears of War. Forza.
Other than them there is noting on the radar in terms of exclusives. But I noticed on hotukdeals there is a website/store selling pre owned XB1s for £299. My local Cash Generator sell them for £360. So with the new price drop and stores selling them for £299,£360
now 3 months after release. What are the chances places will be selling them pre owned for £250 or less come the end of 2014? Am just looking for opinions here.

As I said only a handful of exclusives available/coming that interest me. But at £250 or lower it would be hard to say no.

@smilesky they were high end on release, now their a entry level enthusiast card which is why there under £250 and by the end of the year they will be low end parts because they will be out performed by a £160 card.

 

Likelihood of headset being included with the system.

I think the headset will be included with the Xbox One.

Reason being because Major Nelson actually responded to someone's Twitter question about it. The person asked Major Nelson if the headset was going to be included with the system. MN responded by saying "We are looking into it".

Why bother responding publicly if they didn't have intentions to?

It sounds like they are confirming it without outright confirming it. Maybe it's just me.

If you don't care for having a disc drive and purchase all games digitally, there are rumors that a non disc based Xbox One will be release late this year for a reduced price.

Otherwise, just wait and see what happens, or buy a used one.

 

Can't see me buying a console without a disc drive tbh. That is what I was getting at. I should of put it in the title. Second hand (pre owned) is what am talking about not new. Cash Generator has one for £315 delivered right now. But am going to wait until
it hits that £250 sweet spot. Am just wondering what everyones opinions are about this. I personally think I should be able to pick one up for £250 or less before the year is over. I just don't know when.

I wouldn't expect to see any Xbox One consoles for this price until support for the 360 is dropped in a few years. If you want to get one for this price, you should see if your local town has an 'itemsforsale' page on Facebook. You do occasionally get the
odd person who owes his dealer money and is shifting his valuables for pennies. Jokes aside though, casual classified ads are your only real chance of getting one that cheap.
