    Lightly darkened screen/screen saver stuck on after initial start up?


    About a week ago my Xbox One started to get stuck in the lightly darkened screen/screen savor on initial start up. I can sign in and do anything I want, but the darkened screen will not go away unless I cut the console off and back on again. It's a very
    odd anomaly and slightly annoying. Any clue as to what is causing this. (I am not in energy savor mode)

    None of my games are loading.

    i last played Dragon Age inquisition this afternoon. The game did not allow me to save. I shut down the system. Two hours later, upon trying to reboot, DAI is stuck on the initial loading screen and unable to load. i have checked with my other games and
    the same thing is occuring.

    All of my games are stuck after the initial start menu or prior to the start menu.

    Xbox One stuck at the initial green screen

    Germany - same issue. Box starts into the Green screen, with initial sound, then stuck on the screen. Rebooted already 5 times, did unplug network & SPDIF but no difference.

    Hey guys!

    Sorry to hear about the dimmed screen issue! Let's begin by following each of the steps below to let your Xbox One console fully drain power.

    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once the Xbox One has fully powered off, unplug the power supply from the Xbox One console as well as the power socket and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    • After 5 minutes have passed, plug the power supply back into the wall socket as well as the Xbox One and power back on.
    Follow each of the steps above and post back to let us know how it goes! Lightly darkened screen/screen saver stuck on after initial start up? :)

    Do you mean that you are stuck on the uploading or initial configuration screens of the Xbox? I just purchased the Elite bundle and cannot go past those screens at the moment. Or have you configured your Xbox and you are stuck on the boot up screen of
