light on kinect is not bright sometimes

Is this happening during games or when just sitting on the dashboard? If its during games, that is completely normal. Some developers who don't use the kinect for voice commands use the extra processing power in their games.

Seems to change based on the light in the room. Kinda like when your phone screen dims. Dark room = dim Xbox logos on the system, Kinect and controller, bright room = bright light.

The kinect senses the light in the room and adjusts the brightness so its not glaring in your face. on launch day I was playing without the kinect plugged in then when i plugged it in I noticed they had dimmed. I played through the night till daylight and
the lights then went bright again.

My Kinect and console light auto dimming is still acting oddly. When in a game both are bright, but when I open the guide they both dim and stay dim when I go home and browse around the console. Back to the game and they go bright again.

It's a bit annoying, because the X power button light is quite bright in a low lit room. I was hoping hooking up Kinect would produce the same experience with the light dimming as on the One.

For me they are both dim when in a poorly light room and turn brighter when in a bright room.
