Light armor being upgraded.

if you have a piece of armor that's has plus to light....when you upgrade the defense on it does the light amount of that piece go up to?

Scaled armor smithing ...?

The horned scale armor i found out in a chest in Skyrim. It has no enchanting to it, but i read elsewhere that it can't be upgraded for some reason. Kind of like the Silver sword.

So the only scaled armor you can make with the Advanced Armor is steel?

I think i made that and upgraded it but it still isn't as good as the upgraded leather. So far, at the level of smithing i can perform, the leather is the highest upgraded light armor i have come across.

 

So.. question about armors

Not when upgraded, however. The difference in defense will be exaggerated.

There is a reason, and that's because you can forge both Light and Heavy variants, which you can't do with Daedric, making the perk the perfect one for the top perk.

 

It depends on the type of upgrade you are doing to the Armor. If you are upgrade it's attributes so that it helps with reloading a weapon or it gives you more ammo then No it doesn't. However if the defense of it the one with the shield with the lighting
bolt through it then yes it will increase your light usually by 2.

 

Normally by fully upgrading a piece of Light Armor it will generally increase by 1 or 2 Light.
