lifetime Membership

a lifetime membership the xbox live cost me 240.00 . Years later i learned that they stop selling these but i contacted the xbox live an was granfathered in. There was a period where i did not play as i do now but at some point i came back and start playing
with the new cod and MODERN WARFARE. I bought this account to play the ORIGNAL HALO on the ORIGNAL XBOX not the the 360 , the 360 came sometime later for me.

Fast forwarding to 2014 i see that they suspended me for not paying? i was operating under the information that i didn't have to pay and was grandfathered in. I was informed that my account was charged to a credit card im still not sure how it got this
way but im starting to remember why it was charged the way it is currently and i want to get this cleared up. In 2005 i paid for a lifetime membership cost was 240.00 this is excluding the cost of the xbox and the game . I paid this as a separate charge. NOW
the customer service can only see 2009 when the problem begin and nothing prior . I NEED WHOEVER to look into my account using my hotmail because it is the only thing that has been constant on my account. ive changed gamer tags ,area codes,address, jobs ,
even cities but i've always had my hotmail account attached to my xbox live. I need this to be looked into by someone who has knowledge and access to info PRE 2009 of how to find this i know its there. Because ive had my xbox live account since 2004/2005.

How many GS you earned the month of June?

MS gave him the white xbox one and a lifetime gold membership.

 

As far as I'm aware of there has only ever been one instance of a "Lifetime Membership" and that was given away--not sold--this past year. $240 would approximately be the price of 4-5 years of Xbox LIVE Gold at retail which would put your '04/'05 initial
set-up into the 2009 era that you speak of.

 

Actually 2 so far as I know. I can't remember who it was on youtube but Major Nelson went to his house and gave him an Xbox One along with a lifetime membership as well.

However, in all the years that I've been on live (since the original console) I have never heard of a lifetime membership being sold.

OP, if you purchased what you thought was a lifetime membership from retailer you should revisit that purchase.
