Life is Strange

I just got Dying Light last night. Let's get some coop Lofty.

I'd rather they delay it bug free.

It's okay. Not great, but not bad either. It's an entirely average game.

In terms of how the game is presented, yes. Telltale games are more polished in terms of narration and development, but the story in 'Life is Strange' does hold it's own.

Fairly similar length to the Telltale games. You'll finish episode 1 in 3-4 hours.

The time manipulation concept is pretty good. It works fairly smoothly, and gives some interesting puzzles.

 

I finished Episode 1 in about 2 hours 10 minutes. And I was playing it blind (let play). A way I could tell is because I did a lets play of it on my Youtube channel. One of the things I like about the game is it's an episodic game. It looks like a new episode
will release every month until episode 5. It's kind of like what Halo 4 Spartan Ops was like for Xbox 360. They didn't release all the episodes to Spartan Ops at once. You like downloaded the first few episodes, and then there was a DLC/Update which is free
I think, and you have to download that in order to have the complete Spartan Ops series. I really like the game. And you get a staggering 55 Gamerscore I think when you just complete the first episode which is a really easy 55 Gamerscore points.

 

its unbelievably boring, watching paint dry is more fun

 

I might have to check it out soon. I was hesitant to try it, but since I got episode 1 demo downloaded, I suppose I could give it a try.

 

I really want to play this game, though like the walking dead I'll wait for the final product.

 

Life is Strange is the culmination of every negative stereotype imaginable, of a modern day prep school.

It's PURE GARBAGE. With horrible voice-over acting, and dialogue.

 

It's so interesting that there is every opinion from the spectrum here, It's good, it's average and it's bad. I think I want to check this out, just not until all episodes are available.

 

DA, just watch it on youtube and save yourself a few bucks.

The challenge will be, not to feel dumber or that you've lost a few brain cells watching it.

 

Hahaha, maybe I should, I'm a big 'go with my gut' or 'general community conscious' type of guy, which I'll admit hasn't always worked for me.

I think in this case more research will be beneficial with such varying opinions, that or a sale with a price too hard to refuse.

 

It makes Destiny look like Halo. hehe

...but seriously, it does.

 

Just got this game (it was cheap). It seems to be like walking through a mystery novel with the ability to correct or change choises. Slow compared to GTA5, but that is normal...

 

Episode 2 will be released on March 24th.
