Life is Strange - Episode 4 - Installation stopped at 490.6Mbs

Okay,

So I have seen a lot posted about this, but no real outcome except for the solution of "Waiting out ended up working for me."

This is great and all, but it's a choice based game and It's pretty cruddy that it's not working.

I have tried everything listed - including a factory reset, power cycle, deleting the entire game and reinstalling, installing from in the game and not from the store - the list goes on. It's been happening for a little over a week now and I'm a little over
it.

Is there anything I'm missing? I saw something about changing my DNS to google's? or OpenDNS? as a rookie I know nothing about all of this, so a little explanation on this may be the last thing left to try.

the same happened to me i just reseted my xbox and it was done

Hi,

try clearing the mac adress of your xbox to see if that fixes the issue

Update:

After a week now, Metro Last Light Redux has resolved itself, as has Life is Strange Episode 4, however Life is Strange Episode 3 still remains stopped at 3.01Gb.

Guess thats the resolution, keep cancelling the download and trying again. One day it will work.

Make sure Life is Strange 2 episode 1 is installed as you need that to play episode 2.

Can you confirm if this is Life is Strange 1 or Life is Strange 2?

Life is Strange 2 Episode 5 is not on GamePass yet and will be added 90 days after the episode was released. So we are looking at it being added in 2020.
