Lichdom: Battlemage - Release Date Pushed Back

This looks better than I thought it would.

FPS where you play as a Wizard.

Unlike most games with magic... you don't have a "Manna Pool" that depletes as you cast spells.

Should have been out this Friday but appears to have been knocked back to May 6th.

Elite controller release date

has the elite controller release date been pushed back. Game.co.uk has the release date as the 3rd nov, when previously it was 27th oct Amazon says nothing and the Xbox store tells me two different dates.

Might be a ploy to get people to fork out a little more for the Digital Edition.

They did this with "Spider-Man" and a few other titles, created a sense of demand to pressure people into going digital.

Don't take the bait. You can get this game for around £30.00 if you look around.

I've watched some gameplay footage of the beginning of the game. Looks alright in those .

I only purchase digital games, it's cheaper as i game share, so it will only cost me £20 for the digital copy.

 

Well there are plusses to going digital.

Even though cost isn't usually one of them at least because a hard copy will cost less in the shop the digital store is actually selling this for what a hard copy of a new game would cost in the shop.

 

This is available to buy now on the xbox one marketplace if anyones still interested. £40 is a bit steep so might wait a bit............maybe lol

Still says pre-order on xbox.com though at the time of posting.

 

I like the look of this and I like the idea of blasting through as a Spell Caster.

Not expecting "Game Of The Year" here but the gameplay footage I've seen does look fun.

Not falling for the old artificial sense of "demand" thing with the disc versions being held back to pressure people into buying digital yet though.

I'll get mine at the cheaper disc price when it's released in the first week of May.

There can be no "correct" review but looking at feedback from people who enjoyed it as well as blew it off or didn't like it will give people a better opportunity to read between the lines.

 

Glad I held off on this.Reports are saying this is the worst performing game on the xbox one,barely ever going above 20fps,loading times of over 2 minutes.

Even the developers have said they are unhappy with how the game performs on consoles.Makes you wonder why they released it then.

 

Seems to run ok on the Twitch Streams I've seen but that doesn't mean these issues aren't there.

Is it getting patch support?
