License Transfers

So I've come to understand that the license transfers count for each time you do the "Make My Home Xbox" function on a console after I wasted it twice on my console. I also used one to do a license transfer for a friend. This has a lot to do with some very
poor wording and license transfer setup by Microsoft. This resulted in me using what I thought was 1 license transfer being all 3 for the year.

So my question is this? Is there a way to get around this or not? Or is Microsoft looking for loopholes on being chincy with their License Transfer and *** over the customer. I called Support and got unhelpful answers with one rep even saying that I should
even be doing license transfers. Or is Microsoft willing to actually do something about this?

Honestly been disappointed with Xbox One up until now and even more so. Feel I should just sell my console and switch to PS4, already makes me want to recommend Sony to other gamers.

Downloaded items on the old console won't be removed, but anyone other than the original purchasing owner will loose permission to use them (not really an issue for avatar items).

Sorry that you're upset. However, I have checked out the page describing how the Home Xbox service works and it does clearly state that you can only change the Home status 3 times per year.

License transfers will only transfer licenses between consoles. There is no way to transfer licenses between accounts.

The licenses are tied to the console so using the same hard drive would not transfer the licenses and licenses cannot be transferred via transfer cable. The only way to transfer licenses is through a licence transfer over Live.

The license transfer tool is to transfer your licenses to another console in case you get a new console, not to transfer licenses between accounts. There is no way to transfer digital licenses to another account.

License transfers will transfer licenses for all of your games. There is no way to transfer just one license. So if you use the transfer tool again, it will move your Rockband licenses as well.
